When it is done it will tell you. Click Exit and after a few seconds Freenet will start up. You should also get a web page some up telling you it was successful and what to do next.
At the end of the install process, your navigator should be open and should point to Freenet's user interface.
Freenet 0.7 Offline mode
If you are trying to use the installer from behind a restricted network environment, it might fail (if you use a proxy server for instance). Here is the procedure to follow to force the installation.
- You need to fetch the node∞ and the additional∞ file.
- Choose the "offline" installation mode on the first screen of the installer
- Give the location of the manually downloaded files during step 2 of the installation process
That should work fine almost everywhere.
