FProxy is the name of the web interface provided by Freenet. It is the main way of interacting with your Freenet node.
You can normally access it by going to http://127.0.0.1:8888/ (if Freenet is running). If your node is on another computer, you'll need to use its address; you'll also need to configure your node to allow access. Port 8888 is the default port, but it may be using a different port if you changed the configuration.
FProxy is launched via the Freenet Launcher on Windows. Freenet Launcher takes care of finding the best browser available on your system for browsing FProxy.
You can launch FProxy in the following ways:
- Using the Freenet Tray Manager
- Using the start menu shortcut
- Using the Freenet Launcher directly (located in the installation folder)
